Top 5 snorkels
Hi Nancy, Just wondering if you have tried the dinghy thing. Henley Cay and some others were a lot of fun. The current will carry you and you get picked up. A cooler with lunch and you are all set. BTW I'm not associated with any outfit that rents them. Also agree w/ Choclate Hole recommendations ~ ...

jp -answer to one question
jp,
don't go to slim man - no need to, park right at Bougainville and walk down. We used them and the savings EVERY night vs paying was a real plus. You always have your own spot at no cost = no brainer.
Enjoy jp!

Bug's Vacation
Dear Bug, Nothing and I mean nothing(airplanes, bullets and other high speed projectiles included) and goes faster than a vacation. About a week before our trip at the end of March I had a dream that we had gone and all I remember was about two seconds on the beach. I awoke and dismissed it as silly...

Comment Fire Guy and Sandwich
Greetings All; We saw the "Caribbean Pyros" @ the beach bar w/ "Shoot for Tuesday". Kids 14,12,& 10 thought it was pretty neat, although he did drop the firestick twice in ankle deep water-relight required. We took our two and a nephew that night giving my brother and his wif...

St John Sensi Rick Beginning of this month they had just finished clearing large piles of brush with a trackhoe. Neat as a pin. They also had all their stone suitably arranged in piles according to aggregrate size with the correct ratios or color that are ubiquitous. They also had excavated a founda...

Dear Linz02m, Advice, yes- I would humbly submit that it is paramount to stay out of the sun or at least ensure very good protection- you'll appreciate it later- believe me. Perhaps purchase a few nice jewelry items, ie earrings have them gift wrapped. Now when you are seated at a nice restaurant an...

3/25 - 4/1 Windy, whitecaps in the channel. Trunk had cloudy water 3/28. A lot of large (5'+) waves. Kids loved it. They closed moorings for the dinghys on several beaches- no fun for the people who had rented them that day (they weren't told by Noahs) and arrived at Trunk to be turned away. Same da...

JP First of all have a great trip and enjoy. Son is eighteen (18) years old and your concerned about leaving them alone for a few hours? I would think at this point that he should be able to handle it - if not when? Agree w/ others lay down some basic safety rules, relax and have a nice dinner. Suds

Question for melwill530
melwill,
That sounds interesting using baby powder. Can you describe a little more how this works? Do your feet need to be completely dry first?
I can imagine the dynamics of it. How did you discover this?
Hope to be trying it out soon.
