swim and swim and swim

One of our group members is an avid swimmer (think triathlon). Catch is... a couple of years ago when he was in his mid 30's he suffered a stroke which has left him legally blind. He would love to swim and swim and swim with a kayak following so he won't get lost. Where is the best beach for this to...

Private taxi?

Hello! Does anyone know if I can hire a taxi to bring a large group (9) into Cruz Bay from North Shore and reverse the drive back later in the evening? Would like a designated driver that is not one of the people in our group! Do you have any names? Where would you recommend we go for dinner and dri...

Thanks Shopper! I did not realize that the safari truck would be so tight. We will probably go with two 4wd vehicles. Have a great day!

Thanks for the heads up!

We were switched without notice to a flight on the day before our original booking, forcing us to sleep at JFK! I was able to switch back to our original day from Boston and connect in San Juan. Would not have known- thanks again Flip!

I think Jae's Cafe and Grill (www.jaescafe.com) on Columbus Ave. would be a good choice. They take reservations- no parking lot though. The food is delicious. Asian fusion food. Full bar of course. I wish I could be there to meet you all. I have a show opening on Friday. Anywhere you choose to go wi...

Hi Jim-
All of the places I mentioned are an easy cab ride. I thought of two more places that are less expensive - where the locals eat. Giacomo's an italian restaurant (south end location) and Delux (tiny bar with wonderful food) both places are cash only. Let me know if you need more ideas.

There are many GREAT restaurants in the south end that have parking. Gas Light, Rocca, Red Fez all have parking. No parking but still great- Pops, Hammersley's, Sibling Rivalry, and for live music (make a late reservation as bands don't start playing until later) Beehive. Hope this helps.

Peter Bay

Hi- I am stepping out of the shadows to ask some questions. I really find this forum fun and informative so here goes... Does anyone know anything about Rotunda in Peter Bay? I have not read a review. Is the beach within walkable distance? Thank you in advance.
