polar bear cooler sale

Does anyone have suggestions on how to keep food HOT? This is a football tailgate question. I'd like to keep chili hot from home to a certain Midwestern university two hours away. I realize this is somewhat OT, but I'm stumped, short of bringing one of those Coleman grills along... any clever ideas ...

need villa help

We stayed at Pink Horses last March. It is a new villa with gorgeous views and a nice pool. The master bedroom is on the main level. The bath has both an indoor and an outdoor shower. The guest bedroom is on the pool level. It had a queen bed, and the bath is across the deck--not far at all, but you...

just don't get it

Ummm, let's see...
sixty inches of snow this winter in Chicago.
Tenth coldest winter on record.

No sun from
November till March unless the temp is around
20 degrees.

Our sailboat is only in the water
from May 15 to Oct. 1...am I forgetting something?

St John Villas ON the water

There is a nice little villa on the East End (just beyond Sloop Jones)
called Cameron Cove. You can walk from the house right to
a pebble beach with *great* snorkling. We stayed there last year.
It is remote, but a nice change of pace. I have never seen so many
stars!

Foxy at Foxy's

We'll be taking a day trip to Jost during out STJ trip. Does anyone know how to tell if Foxy is going to be around?
It's always a fun place, but it would be great to catch a performance.
Thanks!

Calypso by the Sea

I have not stayed at Calypso, but I went through it with a realtor. It has two bedrooms and baths separated by a large living/dining area, with a very large deck with a hot tub. The villa has a sand "yard" with lots of palms. It is on the water, near Coral Bay, in the Johnson bay subdivisio...

MONDAY MORNING BEACH PIC

Yes, I am on STJ. the weather finally broke yesterday afternoon.
It is just perfect now.

I have not experienced weather like this before, so I can't comment
on the bugs--except to say that the first few days before the rain, I
was a mosquito buffet. : (

Rum punch may be the antidote!

MONDAY MORNING BLUES BEACH PIC

Sorry to disappoint you all, but it has been pouring rain here for the
past three days!!!

Have not seen the sun since Friday. This is weather only the mosquitoes
(and maybe the cisterns) could love. Thunder, lightning and high winds,
etc.

Sigh.

arrest made (hopefully)

Thanks Pia,

Good to know that progress is being made prosecuting this crime. If others were involved, let's hope more arrests are forthcoming. Per Bert's remarks, though, I hope at least some of us will continue to keep our attention on this case. There's still a long way to go.

STJ is great but censorship is not

Marianne, I first posted a reference to this crime on June 25. Frankly, I was stunned by the lack of...outrage, I guess. There were lots of expressions of concern and condolence, and cautions not to leap to conclusions. (Conclusions? we *know* what the conclusion was!) Admittedly, this hit home. I'm...
