Trunk Bay Snack Bar 02/22/2009

Okay, so maybe it's not a restaurant but it's a great spot for lunch. We got a late start one morning and skipped breakfast and decided to take a chance on the snack bar at Trunk Bay at lunch time. We weren't expecting much so maybe that's why we were so impressed. My husband and one son had burgers and fries. They agreed they were really good for a beach snack bar. Another son got the honey fried chicken. He devoured each bit of it and said it was delcious. The hit of the day was the chicken sandwich. I was expecting the ubiquitou chicken patty that is full of air bubbles and unidentifiable chewy bits. What I got was a perfectly marinated whole chicken breast, with melted cheese placed gracefully on a bulky roll with crispy lettuce, tomato and pickles. The best chicken sandwich I've ever tasted. Could it be the scenery I was enjoying while eating it? I don't know but I'm willing to go back and do a retest.
