Miss Lucy's (lunch) 02/10/2009
Reviewers Rating: Excellent
Miss Lucy’s has one of the best locations on the island for lunch—right on the water on Friis Bay. Tables are set up under the seagrape trees for shade. You may be joined at your table by curious chickens looking to feast on your leftovers. It’s very charming and the food is always good. Service is efficient and friendly.

We tried the sampler plates, which feature crunchy grouper, conch fritters, and shrimp with accompaniments such as pigeon peas and rice, mashed sweet potatoes, fungi, fried plantains, etc. The servings are very generous—one plate could easily feed two adults, and the side dishes are especially delicious—especially the pigeon peas and rice.

We always stop for lunch at Miss Lucy’s at least once every trip. I highly recommend that you try it too.
