If I could give Sweet Plantains 5 stars, I would. Located in Coral Bay before you get to Shipwreck Landing. Has to be the best restaurant on St. John currently.
The mix of East Indian and West Indian foods (along with some Latin influences), the location right on breezy Coral Bay, and the decor, all combine for a remarkable experience.
All dishes are home made with fresh spices, and you can tell. The flavors and freshness are amazing. Rum list is extensive, and they have some unique specialty drinks.
Must try when on St. John.
