Just got back and haven't done a full report yet but hands down, our best dinner last week was Tage. It wasn't crowded but we went early. There was no attitude at all when we arrived with our sons 8 and 14. My boys are adventurous eaters and happy to try new things.

We all shared a crab souffle for an appetizer that was an aria on a plate. OMG!!! Trust me, we had to restrain each other from licking the plate. Then we all shared a salad, the ceasar I think, which we also was perfect. My 8 year old had the mussels appetizer as his entree which he loved and was a perfect portion for him after the app and salad. Number 1 son had the capon (which is actually a farm raised pidgeon...I told you they were adventurous) and he thought it was fantastic. My husband and I split the filet of beef with crab, prosciutto and tomato hollandaise and it melted in our mouths. I'm fuzzy on what we had for dessert, but we all shared two....maybe a creme brulee and something chocolate? I'll ask the kids, they will remember. The desserts were a hit as well but I only had a small taste of each and agreed that they were nearly as heavenly as my Grand Marnier...Mommy's dessert. All in all it is not inexpensive, and I would not take children expecting to find a hamburger on the menu, but for the quality of dishes and the service which was perfect, Tage is our overall #1, hands down best pick of our 10 day trip.

Our server was doing triple duty, hosting, managing and serving and for the life of me I can't remember his name. Excellent. I will say that Tage is more than on their way to a good start. They are back, as good as, or better than ever.
