Ahh… Tage...an interesting albeit quirky place. Busy on this particular Sat night, Feb 25. Reservations meant a comfortable wait with cocktails at the busy bar, but the service was attentive and pleasant. Once we were finally seated our table service was just as efficient as one would hope for. The chef/owner, Ted Robinson, was on track this particular night as everything we ate was done to perfection, especially my day scallops for my entr饮 They were fresh, large and perfectly caramelized on both sides…just delicious! My husband rated his tenderloin on a scale of 1-10 a good solid 9. This particular night it was served w/ a large slice of chorizo, and polenta w/ a sweet chutney…he was thrilled. We shared an appetizer combo and what I remember about it was some mahi mahi, tomato eggplant thing, fried calamari and a dumpling all served w/ greens and a balsamic dressing. I like this place and have had nothing but wonderful food here. The winner of 8 tuff miles was seated at a table beside us and I found it a lovely endorsement that this is a local’s favorite restaurant.
