Since we were staying at Gallows Point for a couple of nights before our villa was available, we decided to try out ZoZos (since it is located at Gallows). Boy were we disappointed. Thank goodness we had some drinks and appetizers at The Beach Bar earlier in the afternoon. The taste of the food was OK but the portions were disappointing small. I had the stuffed shrimp (crabmeat) for $28.00 and only got three shrimp and a small serving of risotto - tasty but not very filling. My husband had one of their specials that was a seafood and pasta bouillabase(sp??) and got one shrimp, one scallop, one piece of pasta and one hunk of crab and some mussels. He was very disappointed. As I said earlier, the food tasted good but the atmosphere was very pretentious (our waitress seemed miffed we didn't order appetizers, salads, wine or dessert). For the price, we had much better meals on the beautiful island of St. John!
