I ordered a ceasar salad there and it was presented as a plate of lettuce with a hard boiled egg and bottled ceasar dressing on the side. I ordered it with shrimp which was so mushy that one piece fell apart as I picked it up. When I said something was wrong with the shrimp, the waitress told me that there was no problem with the shrimp because they just got it in. She said that they soak in in lemon lime juice before they cook it and maybe I just didn't like it. She said she would take the shimp charge off the bill. I'm pretty familiar with seafood, and I think what happened is that they let it soak in the citris too long which begins to break down the shrimp. Whatever the reason...you don't argue with a customer that doesn't like an item...you take it away, offer them something else and take it off the bill, period.

When the bill came, we handed her an American Express card. She came back a few minutes later and announced loudly. The machine won't take it. Do you have any cash? By this time we were bull at the attitude and knew damn well that there was nothing wrong with the card. My husband told her to run it again, and she said that there were only a few lines running off the island, and it must be busy so it will probably take a really long time. We left cash, and a very small tip.
