La Tapa is an interesting dichotomy: fine dining in an open building on the noisiest, dustiest road in sleepy Cruz Bay. The indoor tables have a funky, cafe ambiance. The outside, well, I guess I would rather sit on the water. We had a huge local greens salad which we shared; they did not split it up like some establishments might. Our entrees were excellent- filet and a delicious glazed and encrusted seared tuna. Beautiful new wave (maybe it is old wave by now!) pile-it-up style. Delicious. My only complaint is the nickle and diming- you have to pay extra for a little basket of french bread with oil? When your entrees are $26 and $27, they could throw in a little bread. Cute place, good service, great fish, big bucks....
