Excellent Hotel on the Cay is a beautiful hotel on a little private island. We enjoyed both the excitement of
the "downtown" life and the many restaurants that were so close and did not require a taxi to get
to or any other form of transportation other than a short, complementary ferry ride and our feet!
We also enjoyed the serenity of a beach that was steps from our front door and wonderful
snorkeling and great conversation with other travelers while watching the fabulous Caribbean
sunsets. What a staff they have, too..Marion is like an instant mother to all her enter her fold and
Peter is the island guru and story teller. The front desk people were all very nice and helpful.
Hotel on the Cay also sells timeshare units, Peter seems to be the main salesman and what a job he
does! Maria makes the purchase of the units run smoothly and is always very helpful when asked
about anything. Maria told us that she is putting together some special packages that should be of
interest to anyone who likes to scuba dive, like us or is getting married in St. Croix. We definitely
rate this hotel a four star because of its unique location and its fantastic staff!
